This is a collective mapping of waste-related sites. Sites include built and imagined landscapes, social and cultural practices, and design projects. Waste is broadly conceived in terms of space (blight, sprawl, vacancy), time (waiting, boredom, drudgery), resources (refuse, trash), and information technologies (e-waste, obsolescence, “delete”).
The mapping was part of Urban Media Lab: Waste, a graduate-level seminar at The New School University.
